“Cleantech Innovate was a fantastic opportunity to meet with stakeholders, investors, like-minded businesses, mentors, and others who can help you to grow your company. It was a fantastic platform and we got exactly what we were expecting from the event.”

Flint Engineering wins the first ‘Game-Changer’ prize at Cleantech Innovate 2018, for its innovative heat mat technology, a novel and efficient version of heatpipe technology, made not as a single pipe but as a complete flat surface. Thanks to its isothermic characteristics, the heat mat has the ability to transfer heat energy very quickly and very efficiently, making it suitable for a wide array of applications, many of which are associated with improving efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.

Freddie Talberg, Co-Founder & CEO of Emission Solutions Ltd (EMSOL)
“EMSOL was successful in securing investment funding very quickly after the event. We believe if we were not given the opportunity to present against other businesses within the cleantech space, the context of what we offer and the difference we offer compared to so many other amazing businesses and concepts would not have been appreciated.”
Paul Clark, Managing Director at Masterfilter
“Cleantech Innovate has been the gift that keeps on giving. Twelve months on we will be launching a Series A funding round and it is highly likely that another investment group that we met for the first time at the event will be the lead investor in this round.”
Agnes Czako, Co-Founder & Commercial Lead at AirEx
“We immediately raised £75k of seed funding within two months of the event and also engaged further investors, with some of whom we are currently negotiating an investment deal.”
