The London Waste and Recycling Board (LWARB) works in conjunction with the Mayor of London and London Councils and has a remit to improve resource management in the capital. LWARB is creating the conditions required to accelerate London’s transition to a low-carbon circular economy, an approach which the city’s economic and environmental future depends on. Its work includes business model development and piloting, policy consultation and guidance, building collaborative networks across the capital, and promoting and supporting emerging innovators.
