Investor, Cambridge Agritech

Paul Rous has over twelve years’ experience as an entrepreneur, investor and active supporter of early stage businesses. His professional background spans the military, asset management, technology and agriculture. He has worked with Goldman Sachs, and co-founded Fuel Ventures, one of London’s first active seed venture capital funds  focusing on early stage digital businesses, which he exited in 2016.
Having spent 6 years diversifying the 4000 acre arable family farm in Suffolk, he returned to London and has been involved in commercialising academic IP with Imperial Innovations, co-founded another venture fund and helped both corporates and academic institutions build innovation businesses focussing on agritech.
Paul has represented farmers and rural businesses at regional and national level and is passionate about agritech and innovation. He is currently completing an Executive MBA at Imperial College.
